Units with a view.

The room was large with an outstanding view of the castle. the location was stunning, right next to a peaceful area and within walking distance to the castles and a beautiful nature reserve. Additionally, it was only 2 miles from a scenic lake.

the location of the hotel was perfect - around 10-15 minutes walk from flowers. it was located in a pretty quiet area just next door to castles and natural surroundings and neuschwanstein castle and füssen.

The free parking was on site, great service. Got tasteful, outstanding room with a view. Location: the hotel was just off the illuminated fairytale castle...

Cons: Loved the invisible reception, felt like playing hide and seek to check-in!

Gorgeous location near the castle and just a short distance from the Museum of Fuessen, making it convenient to explore the area.

The rooms are big and tasteful with a shared balcony. The view of the castle from the bedroom is stunning. The staff are great.

Nice to walk to the castles in the meadows just below both famous castles which are perhaps a 20-30 minute walk away. The hotel is near the castles, making it convenient to visit them by walk. The breakfast provided by the hotel was good and plentiful. The staff at the hotel were helpful and provided great directions and advice on attractions.

The location of this hotel is amazing! It is within walking distance to the Neuschwanstein Castle and offers breathtaking views of both castles. The breakfast provided was delicious and the owner even offered to cook eggs for us. Additionally, the owner was very helpful and gave us great tips on how to get to the castle on foot, avoiding the traffic and parking hassle.

The ceilings in the top floor rooms had a sloped design, which could be inconvenient for taller guests. Additionally, there were no elevators, so if stairs are a concern, it would be best to request a ground floor room in advance.

We had a fantastic stay at Pension Schwansee! the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. He gave us great recommendations for dinner and warned us about the heavy snow storm expected near the castle parking. Our son had a blast playing with the owner's husky. the location was perfect, just a short 15-minute walk from the ticket office. the breakfast was delicious and the Wi-Fi connection was strong. We can't wait to come back and explore the beautiful area again!

The location was amazing, just a short walk from Neuschwanstein Castle and a beautiful lake. The owner was super cool and gave us tips on how to explore the area. The breakfast was yummy and they even had fresh eggs. The best part? The balcony in our room had an epic view of BOTH castles!

That the hotel was more suited for nature lovers and there weren't many options for young party-goers. It would have been awesome if they had a bar or a cool hangout spot for us teens to chill and meet other young travelers.

I keep coming back to my favorite place in Schwangau. The staff here is amazing; they helped me with early check-in on my first stay. The hotel has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar/lounge area, and a flat-screen TV. I'll be back for Christmas!

Situated between Füssen and Hohenschwangau Castle. Warm welcome from English-speaking landlord. Clean, tidy room with good shower and towels. Nice breakfast options, including freshly cooked eggs. Cool mountain air helps with heat. On-site parking available.
